AAEB Annual Events and Grants

  • 30 Day Art Shows 
    To set up a show, email Lilia at lilia@artassociationeastbay.com
    .   Once art has been reviewed, location for show will be selected.
  • June 13, 2009 -   Art Show and Wine Tasting, silent Auction to benefit AAEB at Chirosports USA
Art show will run through July 10th… local artists participating, Liz Chavoor, Charles Fosterwhite, Angie Villegas, Ann-Marie Haley, Debra Collins and Kate Lipman

Gallery Polices

  • 2010 – Watch for expanded show same time frame… Go Mighty Colts!! 
  • Fall Festival of the Arts - Fifth Annual show was held in 2008.
    The Sixth Annual Fall Festival will be held in 2010!  Location TDB. Watch site
    for details in April, 2010.   Send e-mail with information if interested in participating or being on our e-vite list.
  • Fall Holiday Art Show – November through December Minimal space so apply early. 2009 Show will be held in Niles Gallery.  Application

  • Young Artist Grant - Goal is to help the artists with funds to develop
    enough art, matt and frame if applicable, and give the artist a 30 day show.   2008’ recipient,  Byrant Sina did very well.  
  • Interested artist (14 to 21 years of age) need to email Diane at diane@artassociationeastbay.com.
    Based on the interview an application will be sent out.  The AAEB Board
    will then select the artist or group for the year.  2008 New Haven award went to Peter Li.
  • AAEB Art Teacher/Mentor Grant -  Two Awards this year
    First award went to Lilia Reynoso.Lilia is working with a group of under privileged young women that attend Conley-Caraballo H.S. the “Ladies Xpress” club.  The women met and designed a mural that to them depicts their vision of strong, intelligent young women making a difference in their worlds.            

Second award in 2009 to Parent/Teachers who started Art Vistas program at Eastin Elementary School.  First Annual Gallery Night, May 29th at Eastin.
